National Solar Tour Day 10/03/2009 SUNation donated and installed, LIVE on National Solar Tour Day, a 20K solar electric system on Oakdale Commons, home to 10 businesses, including our showroom. There was a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by several of our local politicians. Assemblywoman Ginny Fields presented us with a Certificate of Merit for contributing to the growth of our community while demonstrating concern for the earth’s environment. Islip Town Council members Chris Bodkin, Jim Morgo, and recently elected council members Trish Bergin and Steve Flotteron also attended.
